Plantio Certo: Agricultural Planting Optimization
Plantio Certo, also known as Zarc - Plantio Certo, is a valuable tool that showcases the optimal planting dates for 43 different crops. It utilizes data from the Agricultural Risk Zoning (ZARC), a crucial tool for agricultural policy and risk management. This study aims to quantify risks arising from adverse weather conditions, enabling each municipality to identify the best planting period for crops based on soil types, crop cycles, and specific crop requirements. Developed using a methodology endorsed by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply, this app empowers users to make informed planting decisions. Additionally, users can track current or past season climate conditions for enhanced planning.
